We’re looking for an accounting technician for our Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts <\/strong>and Mont-Tremblant <\/strong>teams . <\/strong>Here’s the opportunity you’ve been looking for!<\/p>\n

The role of the accounting technician<\/strong><\/h3>\n

As an Accounting Technician, you will assist your assigned clients in managing their accounting needs. Whether public or private, you’ll have the chance to serve a diverse clientele and work with a multidisciplinary team that includes auditors, tax specialists and commodity tax specialists. <\/p>\n

More specifically, for the companies assigned to you, you will have the opportunity to :<\/strong><\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Complete bookkeeping up to the preparation of the year-end file;<\/li>\n
  • Complete tax forms (GST-QST, T4, T5 and others);<\/li>\n
  • Prepare payroll and government remittances (DAS, CCQ, etc.) ;<\/li>\n
  • Prepare and present monthly or quarterly financial statements;<\/li>\n
  • Responding and communicating with government authorities;<\/li>\n
  • Preparing personal tax returns;<\/li>\n
  • Offer support and training to customers;<\/li>\n
  • Participate in compilation missions, as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    You must :<\/strong><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • College-level academic training (DEC) in accounting. Any combination of education or experience deemed equivalent will be considered; <\/li>\n
    • A minimum of two (2) years experience in accounting;<\/li>\n
    • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, autonomy, speed, attention to detail and discretion in carrying out tasks;<\/li>\n
    • Enjoy teamwork and managing several projects simultaneously;<\/li>\n
    • Develop and maintain positive and lasting professional relationships;<\/li>\n
    • Excellent knowledge of French and the Office suite.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Assets :<\/strong><\/h3>\n
        \n
      • Knowledge of accounting software such as Taxprep and QuickBooks online;<\/li>\n
      • Knowledge of English ;<\/li>\n
      • Experience in a law firm is a major asset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
