We are currently looking for an accounting technician<\/b>. We’re looking for someone who is versatile, rigorous and proactive, who appreciates hands-on work and wants to work in a dynamic environment. <\/p>\n

The accounting technician is responsible for bank reconciliations and ensures that the entire accounting cycle runs smoothly.<\/p>\n

    The main responsibilities of the successful candidate will include<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Perform monthly bank reconciliations;<\/li>\n
    • Account for accounts payable and cash receipts;<\/li>\n
    • Prepare and book simple adjustment entries, including depreciation of fixed assets and recurring expenses (rent, insurance, monthly fees, etc.);<\/li>\n
    • Complete accounting for real estate activities;<\/li>\n
    • Participate in the publication of rental and sales ads;<\/li>\n
    • Participate in monthly closings and preparation of year-end files;<\/li>\n
    • Produce basic accounting reports (general ledger, trial balance, subsidiary reports);<\/li>\n
    • Work with an accounting system and respect internal procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Candidate profile<\/h3>\n
        \n
      • DEP or DEC in accounting, or equivalent; <\/li>\n
      • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position;<\/li>\n
      • Experience with accounting software (e.g. Sage, Acomba, QuickBooks);<\/li>\n
      • Demonstrate rigor, autonomy and attention to detail;<\/li>\n
      • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, mainly Excel;<\/li>\n
      • Good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
