{"id":4691,"date":"2021-04-12T12:41:26","date_gmt":"2021-04-12T16:41:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amyotgelinas.com\/covid-19-additional-aid-to-support-businesses\/"},"modified":"2021-04-12T12:41:26","modified_gmt":"2021-04-12T16:41:26","slug":"covid-19-additional-aid-to-support-businesses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amyotgelinas.com\/en\/covid-19-additional-aid-to-support-businesses\/","title":{"rendered":"COVID-19 &#8211; Additional aid to support businesses"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Minister of the Economy and Innovation, Mr. Pierre Fitzgibbon, has announced additional measures to the Aide aux entreprises en r\u00e9gions en alerte maximale (AERAM) to further alleviate the difficulties encountered by businesses as a result of the recent tightening of health regulations.<\/p>\n<p>The following adjustments are now in effect for companies subject to a closure order:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>extension of the moratorium until September<sup>1, <\/sup>2021 for repayment of principal and interest on financial assistance granted;<\/li>\n<li>an additional amount of up to $10,000 to offset the cost of closing a restaurant or gym. This additional support applies to AERAM-qualifying businesses, and is intended to help establishments that had recently resumed operations, but had to cease them following a re-closing order in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic; <\/li>\n<li>additional support in the form of a non-repayable contribution equivalent to a maximum of $45,000 for establishments that have been closed for more than 180 days, or $15,000 per month, for fixed costs incurred in the three months following the last month of eligibility under the closure. This additional contribution is in addition to the non-repayable contributions of previous months, up to a maximum of 100% of the financing granted for businesses that have demonstrated liquidity needs; <\/li>\n<li>addition of companies offering catering services to the restaurant category, with feedback possible until January<sup>1, <\/sup>2021.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Highlights :<\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/c212.net\/c\/link\/?t=0&amp;l=fr&amp;o=3124533-1&amp;h=2968704939&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.quebec.ca%2Fentreprises-et-travailleurs-autonomes%2Faide-urgence-pme-covid-19%2F&amp;a=PAUPME\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">PAUPME<\/a> program provides working capital loans of less than $50,000 to SMEs with liquidity needs, enabling them to maintain, consolidate or relaunch their activities.<\/li>\n<li>Through loans or loan guarantees of a minimum of $50,000, <a href=\"https:\/\/c212.net\/c\/link\/?t=0&amp;l=fr&amp;o=3124533-1&amp;h=1467966747&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.investquebec.com%2Fquebec%2Ffr%2Fproduits-financiers%2Ftoutes-nos-solutions%2Fprogramme-daction-concertee-temporaire-pour-les-entreprises-pacte.html&amp;a=PACTE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">PACTE<\/a> supports companies&#8217; working capital, enabling them to continue their activities.<\/li>\n<li>AERAM is aimed at companies benefiting from the PAUPME or PACTE programs.
