The 5-month payment deferral will enable companies to retain close to $165 million in liquid assets. <\/p>\n<div id=\"DivAssetPlaceHolder1\" class=\"PRN_ImbeddedAssetReference\">\n<p>The companies targeted by this measure are owners of vehicles for which the amounts due are due on March 31, 2020 or April 30, <span class=\"xn-chron\">2020 and<\/span> whose vehicles are registered as follows:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Cabs (T plate);<\/li>\n<li>Commercial vehicles (F plate).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Companies wishing to benefit from this deferral must :<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>contact their financial institution to request a halt to pre-authorized debits (PADs) or request cancellation of their payment cheque issued in the name of the Company;<\/li>\n<li>go to <a href=\"https:\/\/c212.net\/c\/link\/?t=0&amp;l=fr&amp;o=2764754-1&amp;h=664293058&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fsaaq.gouv.qc.ca%2Fservices-en-ligne%2Fentreprises%2Fformulaire-de-report-de-paiement%2F&amp;a=saaq.gouv.qc.ca%2Fservices-en-ligne%2Fentreprises%2Fformulaire-de-report-de-paiement%2F\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">saaq.gouv.qc.ca\/online-services\/companies\/payment-deferral-form\/<\/a> and complete the <i>Commercial Registration Deferral<\/i> form if the previous action is impossible or for any other situation;<\/li>\n<li>send the form to <a href=\"mailto:sae.report.entreprise@saaq.gouv.qc.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">sae.report.entreprise@saaq.gouv.qc.ca<\/a> in order to facilitate and accelerate the processing of each request, answer queries and ensure a personalized approach to this particular transaction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If the above-mentioned companies have already paid the amounts due, they can benefit from this measure by going to <a href=\"https:\/\/c212.net\/c\/link\/?t=0&amp;l=fr&amp;o=2764754-1&amp;h=664293058&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fsaaq.gouv.qc.ca%2Fservices-en-ligne%2Fentreprises%2Fformulaire-de-report-de-paiement%2F&amp;a=saaq.gouv.qc.ca%2Fservices-en-ligne%2Fentreprises%2Fformulaire-de-report-de-paiement%2F\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">saaq.gouv.qc.ca\/services-en-ligne\/entreprises\/formulaire-de-report-de-paiement\/<\/a> and completing the <i>Commercial Registration Deferral<\/i> form.<\/p>\n<p>Once the form has been received, an agent will contact them to complete the transaction within a few weeks.<\/p>\n<p>During this 5-month period, the registration will be valid and no interest will be charged.
