This recognition was awarded with &#8220;gratitude for his constant commitment&#8221;. <\/p>\n<p>For 30 years, Patrice Forget has devoted himself to his Laurentian community. An influential member of the Richelieu Mont-Tremblant club since the early 1990s, he has been involved at local, regional, national and international levels, becoming international president in 2002-2003. <\/p>\n<p>As President of the Fondation Richelieu International in 2014-2015, he created the Richelieu scholarships for high school, college and university students across Canada. In 2008, he helped set up a college study center in Mont-Tremblant, in addition to serving on the board of directors of the Mont-Tremblant Junior AA Hockey Club for some fifteen years. <\/p>\n<p>Over the years, Patrice Forget has put his reputation to good use in fund-raising activities in his region. Centraide, the Maison de la famille du Nord, the Association des personnes handicap\u00e9es Clair-Soleil and, in particular, the Fondation m\u00e9dicale des Laurentides et des Pays-d&#8217;en-Haut have all raised impressive sums year after year, the fruit of Patrice Forget&#8217;s unblemished interpersonal skills and reputation. <\/p>\n<p>Whether in the role of president, treasurer or campaign committee member, Patrice Forget is always rigorous and far-sighted in ensuring the excellent financial health of the organizations that form the fabric of Laurentian society.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The members of the Jury and I would like to offer you our most sincere congratulations on this well-deserved recognition, which testifies to your dynamism, determination and outstanding achievements.
