We are currently looking for an accounting technician. We’re looking for someone who is versatile, rigorous and proactive, who appreciates hands-on work and wants to work in a dynamic environment.
The accounting technician is responsible for bank reconciliations and ensures that the entire accounting cycle runs smoothly.

The main responsibilities of the successful candidate will include
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations;
- Account for accounts payable and cash receipts;
- Prepare and book simple adjustment entries, including depreciation of fixed assets and recurring expenses (rent, insurance, monthly fees, etc.);
- Complete accounting for real estate activities;
- Participate in the publication of rental and sales ads;
- Participate in monthly closings and preparation of year-end files;
- Produce basic accounting reports (general ledger, trial balance, subsidiary reports);
- Work with an accounting system and respect internal procedures.
Candidate profile
- DEP or DEC in accounting, or equivalent;
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position;
- Experience with accounting software (e.g. Sage, Acomba, QuickBooks);
- Demonstrate rigor, autonomy and attention to detail;
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, mainly Excel;
- Good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
