We’re looking for an accounting technician for our Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts and Mont-Tremblant teams . Here’s the opportunity you’ve been looking for!

The role of the accounting technician

As an Accounting Technician, you will assist your assigned clients in managing their accounting needs. Whether public or private, you’ll have the chance to serve a diverse clientele and work with a multidisciplinary team that includes auditors, tax specialists and commodity tax specialists.

More specifically, for the companies assigned to you, you will have the opportunity to :

  • Complete bookkeeping up to the preparation of the year-end file;
  • Complete tax forms (GST-QST, T4, T5 and others);
  • Prepare payroll and government remittances (DAS, CCQ, etc.) ;
  • Prepare and present monthly or quarterly financial statements;
  • Responding and communicating with government authorities;
  • Preparing personal tax returns;
  • Offer support and training to customers;
  • Participate in compilation missions, as needed.

You must :

  • College-level academic training (DEC) in accounting. Any combination of education or experience deemed equivalent will be considered;
  • A minimum of two (2) years experience in accounting;
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, autonomy, speed, attention to detail and discretion in carrying out tasks;
  • Enjoy teamwork and managing several projects simultaneously;
  • Develop and maintain positive and lasting professional relationships;
  • Excellent knowledge of French and the Office suite.

Assets :

  • Knowledge of accounting software such as Taxprep and QuickBooks online;
  • Knowledge of English ;
  • Experience in a law firm is a major asset.
