In order to serve our clients in the manufacturing, distribution, construction, real estate, services, municipal, social services and NPO sectors, we are looking for a tax compliance specialist in Blainville to support our team of more than 15 experienced professionals.
Your role:
- Actively review individual, corporate, partnership and trust income tax and information returns;
- Identify tax compliance risks and formulate solutions;
- Act as an intermediary between government authorities and customers;
- Present the results of work carried out to customers;
- Work in partnership with the assurance team, particularly in cases involving complex tax structures;
- Mentor tax interns.
You must :
- Master’s degree in taxation (CPA or Bar)
- A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in taxation (experience in an accounting or legal firm would be an asset);
- Excellent organizational, analytical and critical skills;
- Knowledge of MS Office, Taxprep and tax research software (Taxnet Pro and IntelliConnect)
- Excellent knowledge of French and the Office suite;
- Enjoy teamwork and managing several files simultaneously.
