Before joining the team in 2022 as Director – Taxation, Hugo already had nearly 15 years’ experience in the firm, first as an auditor and then as a tax specialist. He is now a Partner – Tax.
Versatile and curious by nature, he enjoys learning on a daily basis and developing new skills; this is what prompted him in 2014 to undertake his studies in taxation in order to make a smooth transition from auditing to tax. This dual accounting facet of his professional background, respected by his colleagues in both the assurance and tax teams, regularly earns him the title of “savior” in the words of his colleagues. Indeed, Hugo is able to quickly detect problems that could arise in a file, to grasp the difficulties of a file, but above all to identify what is at stake for his clients.
An enthusiastic teacher, Hugo enjoys sharing his knowledge with others and training his colleagues. It’s only natural that he should be involved in optimizing new working tools for the tax department.
