Jean-François began his career as a trainee with a major international law firm in the early 2000s, where he rose rapidly to become a director.
Ambitious and entrepreneurial, he co-founded an accounting firm in 2007. He played an active role in the firm’s development and growth. In addition to overseeing a wide range of assurance and tax mandates, Jean-François has also contributed to numerous special assignments, quality control and the implementation of information technology processes, as well as managing the firm.
In September 2020, Jean-François joined the Amyot Gélinas family as Director of Certification. When asked why he chose Amyot Gélinas, he answers without hesitation that it was because of the firm’s solidity, its entrepreneurial culture, and the quality and depth of the various areas of expertise it offers.
Jean-François became a partner in September 2021.
His determination, hard work and desire to succeed – inherited in part from his past as a top-level speed skating athlete – will certainly be appreciated by his colleagues and customers, as well as contributing positively to the firm’s growth. He will continue to do what he does best, supporting customers in the pursuit of their business ambitions.
