Nicolas joined the firm in 2018 as a CPA trainee. A passionate numbers professional for over 10 years, he quickly gained experience at Amyot Gélinas, and now holds the position of Director – Assurance in the Mont-Tremblant office.
Thanks to his previous experience, Nicolas has a real sensitivity to the operational issues that companies and their owners can face. His colleagues and customers recognize this as a valuable asset. In recent years, in addition to the many audits he has carried out for companies in the region, he has had the opportunity to work with rental syndicates (legal obligations under the Canadian Public Accountability Board (CPAB)) and condominium corporations.
This heightened knowledge of rental and condominium syndicate issues is an additional asset up Nicolas’ sleeve; he is easily referred to internally for similar files. Nicolas is renowned for his availability to members of the firm, as well as for tutoring future CPAs throughout their academic career.
Nicolas is in the habit of signaling his assent or the completion of a mandate by saying “We’re in business! A phrase he may say several times a week. You’ll understand that he’s results-driven and thrives on challenges.
