Patrice joined the firm at its founding and has always played a leading role, becoming a partner and head of the Mont-Tremblant and Rivière-Rouge offices. Patrice’s strong (and noted) commitment and legendary willingness to push the boundaries of his profession have contributed actively to the growth of the firm, its clients and the accounting profession as a whole.
On January1, 2020, he humbly accepted the role of President of Amyot Gélinas and will ensure that the dream of founding partners Michel Amyot and Christian Gélinas continues.
He is recognized by his peers as an inclusive leader who respects diversity of opinion, has a sense of duty and does not hesitate to recognize everyone’s contribution.
A man of heart and principle, Patrice has always been known for his fervent involvement in his community. He is committed body and soul to numerous organizations such as Richelieu International, Fondation Richelieu International and Fondation Médicale des Laurentides et des Pays-d’en-Haut, to name but a few. His involvement has earned him numerous national and international accolades. He also received the CPA Bénévolat 2020 award from the CPA de Laval-Laurentides-Lanaudière and the Prix Excella – Leader d’expérience from the CPA de Laval – Laurentides – Lanaudière, in 2025.
It is in this same spirit that he places great importance on human resources in his day-to-day management of the firm. With the help of his administrative team and associates, he ensures the continuous improvement of Amyot Gélinas members’ happiness index!
