Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, March 1, 2024 – Amyot Gélinas is proud to celebrate 30 years of continuity since its creation on March 1, 1994 in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts. With nearly 150 members in the Laurentians and Lanaudière, the firm of chartered professional accountants now has 11 partners in offices located in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, Mont-Tremblant, Saint-Jérôme, Blainville, Sainte-Adèle, Rivière-Rouge and Repentigny.
“On behalf of the members of our firm, I would first and foremost like to acknowledge the entrepreneurial strength, vision and dedication of our two founders, Michel Amyot and Christian Gélinas, who made the decision 30 years ago to establish an accounting firm in the heart of the Laurentians to serve the region’s business community and organizations!” said Patrice Forget, President and CEO, since January 1, 2020.
When it was founded, Amyot Gélinas had two partners and some twenty members and professionals. Since then, the firm has continued to grow, opening several offices over the years to get closer to its customers and help them achieve their goals.
Values that live on
Michel Amyot, Founding Chairman and Partner, took a well-deserved retirement in 2021, after a smooth and structured transition of the presidency to Patrice Forget, whom he had accompanied as mentor since his early days with the firm. The current Chairman adds that “Michel Amyot’s presence and the values he conveyed as a professional are still alive and well within the firm. We feel them every day in the services we offer our customers and in the dynamism of our members. In fact, I have given myself the mandate of continuing the company’s mission, developed by Michel and Christian, by ensuring that our firm remains the main business partner for companies in the region, offering a personalized, local service that enables them to maximize their returns and realize their projects”.
Amyot Gélinas is more than just a firm of chartered professional accountants; it also offers related services to support its customers.
