The Ministère du Travail, de l’Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale reminds people receiving financial assistance from the Ministère that they must declare the amounts received from the federal government in the context of the COVID-19 health crisis. In the interests of fairness to all citizens, benefits or subsidies received under temporary federal measures will be taken into account in determining the amount of benefits and subsidies paid by the Ministère.
It is therefore everyone’s responsibility to contact their agent to declare any changes to their financial situation and verify their eligibility for the financial assistance they receive from the Ministry. The following clienteles of the Ministry who benefit or intend to benefit from one of the federal government’s temporary measures are invited to contact their agent:
- individuals receiving last-resort financial assistance;
- individuals participating in a public employment service measure;
- Adapted companies, integration companies and external resources receiving financial assistance from the Ministry.
The federal government’s temporary measures are as follows:
- For individuals :
- Canadian Emergency Benefit (CEP),

- For adapted businesses, integration businesses and external resources: federal wage subsidies (10% temporary wage subsidy and 75% Canadian emergency wage subsidy).
Highlights :
