During the month of April, 19 members of our team took part in the Canadian Cancer Society’s Walk for the Cure, a unifying initiative that invites us to get moving to advance research.
This involvement reflects a value deeply rooted within our organization. As our President points out, “community involvement is an integral part of who we are as a firm”.
Results that testify to the strength of the collective
Thanks to the commitment of our walkers, these are :
- 1,033 kilometers covered
- 9,380 raised to support the fight against cancer
Taken individually, each step may seem modest, but together they take on a whole new dimension.
When we added up the distances covered by our team, we reached the equivalent of the distance between our Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts office and the town of Gaspé: a fine illustration that there’s strength in numbers.
A contribution to a large-scale movement
Beyond our team, our steps joined those of hundreds of participants. Together, the event raised close to $550,000.
Every gesture counts. And it’s by adding them up that we create a real impact.
A commitment that reflects who we are
This initiative is part of a broader commitment to actively contribute to our community and the causes we care about.
We’re proud of our team’s involvement and grateful to everyone who supported us and contributed to this mobilization, through their encouragement or donations.
Over and above the kilometers covered and donations collected, this mobilization represents a message of hope and solidarity. Every step taken and every contribution made makes a concrete contribution to the fight against cancer and to improving the quality of life of those affected.
