The 30th anniversary event for the members of Amyot Gélinas was held in a relaxed, festive atmosphere on Friday, March 15, 2024.
Attended by the two founding partners, Michel Amyot and Christian Gélinas, and hosted by Patrice Forget, President and CEO, the event brought together nearly 130 employees and professionals from all offices.
Gathered at Tag E-Karting in Sainte-Thérèse
As Patrice Forget pointed out in his opening speech at the luncheon: “The location of the event, a racetrack in the Laurentians, is no accident… it lends itself well… just as on one of the NASCAR tracks raced by Alexandre Tagliani, time also flies by at high speed. This 30th anniversary allows us to pause today to look back and take stock of how far we’ve come, while keeping an eye on the road ahead to continue our ascent”. During the speech, employees had the opportunity to rediscover the history of the company and its origins. A moving tribute was also paid to the two founders. Michel Amyot concluded by reiterating his birthday wishes to the members of the firm, and wishing them another 30 years of growth!
The afternoon was then dedicated to activities, with electric go-kart races, laser tag, 7D cinema, technological arena… there was something for everyone. Between the laughter and the sound of tires skidding on the track, we could once again see the dynamism and cohesion of the teams, despite their competitive spirit. At Amyot Gélinas, the days of accountants with “brown socks” have been over for more than thirty years!
