It is with great sadness that Amyot Gélinas announces the sudden death of Marc Legault.
Marc has had a profound impact on the firm’s history. He joined Amyot Gélinas in 1990 and was appointed partner in 2000. A visionary and a builder, he is at the origin of the consulting services department, which he has helped to develop with rigor, commitment and strategic sense.
Throughout his career, Marc has played a key role in the growth and evolution of the firm, alongside the partners and the two founding partners, Michel Amyot and Christian Gélinas. He has maintained close professional and human ties with all the teams, based on trust, respect and a shared vision of the firm’s future.
“Marc was much more than a partner: he was a pillar of the firm, a friend and a deeply respected colleague. His vision, integrity and commitment to people have left a lasting mark on Amyot Gélinas. His contribution will remain forever etched in our history,” says Patrice Forget, President.
Recognized for his generosity, leadership and deep commitment to the firm’s values, Marc has also acted as a mentor to many colleagues, leaving a strong human imprint.
“I had the privilege of building the firm alongside Michel and with Marc’s unfailing support for many years. His intelligence, loyalty and passion for a job well done have made a decisive contribution to what Amyot Gélinas has become today,” adds co-founder Christian Gélinas.
In recent years, Marc had embarked on a phased retirement and officially left the firm on December 31, 2024. His professional and human legacy lives on within the organization.
At this difficult time, the entire Amyot Gélinas team offers its most sincere condolences to his family and loved ones, and to all those touched by this loss.
