Matthieu Ouimet

Matthieu joined Amyot Gélinas as an articling student in 2006, and has continued to develop his skills ever since. He has been a partner since 2021.

Thoughtful and extremely detail-oriented, Matthieu quickly discovered a certain talent for professional quality, i.e. controlling the quality and methodology of the firm’s audits and certifications. He has become a specialist in this field, and is taking on more and more responsibilities in this area.

Naturally resilient, Matthieu likes to think that in life, nothing happens for nothing! He always tries to make the best of any situation. It’s with this attitude that he supports his customers and helps them achieve their various business goals, despite any obstacles that may arise along the way.

Although Matthieu is relatively reserved, he’s definitely a team player you can always count on.

Underneath his serious exterior, Matthieu is competitive and hides a passion he’s had since a very young age: field hockey! Although he no longer plays competitively, he remains just as committed to the sport. He has been coaching minor field hockey for several years, and is also treasurer of the Association du field hockey Mineur de Mont-Tremblant.
